[ 01 // OVERVIEW ]

Project framing

LŪMEN treats street light as a civic intelligence layer. Luminaires compute on-device, cooperate over a mesh, and draw guidance paths without shipping identifiable citizen data to a central cloud.

The published boards walk through the urban scenario, hardware logic, and the ethical stance: adaptive light that orients people without turning the city into a surveillance grid.

[ 02 // APPROACH ]

How the system was built

Edge computing is the interaction constraint. Decisions happen at the luminaire so latency stays low and privacy stays local.

The visual system is nocturnal and infrastructural — aerial urban scenes, mesh topologies, and lighting as a navigational interface rather than a decorative glow.
